As an actor, Dennis has performed in over thirty theatrical productions, and numerous independent and feature films. He is an accomplished theatrical director and has written and directed nine short-films.
In January 2009, Dennis was enlisted by The Talking Band to open their 35th season of original and compelling theater. After nearly a year of workshops and rehearsals, Radnevsky’s Real Magic, ran for three weeks in October 2009 and received rave reviews.
Martin Denton of NYTheatre.com said Dennis is “completely convincing.” And:
“The magic is thrilling…at certain moments in the show, I caught myself watching myself watching: I would realize that I was seeing an illusion but instead of trying to work out how the thing was accomplished, I was instead utterly wrapped up in the relationships between Anton and Harry and the crowd. That is magic.” (Read more...)
Dennis has also brought magic to the stage of The Classical Theater of Harlem’s production of Anton Chekov’s The Cherry Orchard. The production featured Wendell Pierce from HBO’s The Wire, and Earle Hyman from NBC’S The Cosby Show. The New York Times called the show “a stunningly powerful production.”
He has thrice spoken at New York University's Psychology Department on the topic of Visual Perception in Magic and at St. Mary's College, in Moraga, California, on the topic of Lying and Deception. And has been profiled on The Art of Manliness.
Dennis makes his home in the Bay Area entertaining at corporate and private functions across the country, and experiences true magic daily in the presence of his wife, two children, and a puppy named Jack.
